Rosemary has been involved with various forms of art for most of her life, with interests expanding to traditional watercolor most recently. After visiting China and attending a workshop at the Gueilin Art Institute for Chinese Art, her appetite was whetted for Chinese Brush Painting, both on silk and rice paper. She attended watercolor and Chinese Brush Painting classes at the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts since 1999 and studied under Elizabeth Horowitz, Angelito David, Shirley Poo Wills and Al Grafke. She also studied under Maryann Williams. Along with her artistic endeavors, she has worked as a graphics artist for ten years. She is an active member of the Essex Watercolor Club, where she is editor of the newsletter; the Chatham Township Art League; the Pen & Brush; and an associate member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society. Rosemary has exhibited at two juried shows at the Park Avenue Club, numerous other juried shows at the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, the NJ Watercolor Society, and the Pen & Brush Society in New York.
